Yesterday (July 18) was the 1st anniversary of hkmastereye/mastereye online posting. And Tomorrow (July 20) is my B-day.


I've prepared a B-day present: Stop doing blog/online posting indefinitely.


This is the prefect day to say goodbye, so goodbye.

The concert started right on time, it caught many people by surprise. I arrived just in time.

Former Hong Kong International Airport (Kai Tak) (1925 - 1998).

Runway 13 of Kai Tak was one of the most challenging in the world...


...and also one of the most spectacular.


Boeing 747 does low altitude maneuver to line up just in time to land at Kai Tak.

I love WarGames and WOPR. (Finished the first ant farm/phone strap.)


Global Thermonuclear War? Seems so distant these days.

Out of all Romance of the Three Kingdoms video games, I like this Internet version. It's simple and to the point.


The game was based on the events in the turbulent years near the end of the Han Dynasty (around 200 A.D.)


"變幻才是永恆"-"The only thing that is constant is change." The weakest player doesn't always lose the game.


The weakest becomes the strongest, always the sweetest experience of all.


(Game Over, good ending) Nothing ever stays the same, but I'll never give up hope.

My Favorite Things no.2781: A multi-purpose Arduino machine, "converted" from my broken vintage gaming machine.


(Interior) It was my idea, but "the friend" took care of the details.


These are wires, not hairs.


"The friend" pre-installed a game before handing it over to me.


(Some game) It was previously "impossible" to convert this thing to a calculator, but we have now made it a possibility.


I've learned a little C++, and should be able to put in a calculator program into this Arduino machine. (Do that later.)

Moonraker (1979) - Opening

Preparing a new fish tank with a Moonraker Space Shuttle theme for the only surviving fish in my tiny fish tank.


(Almost ready) This fish has killed all the others, perhaps it really doesn't belong here.


(Done) A larger fish tank with a Moonraker Space Shuttle look-alike and a space station wallpaper.


Fish, terminate your space walk and initiate re-entry sequence.


This is an order!

Addendum
(Ultraman is trying to catch my fish.) Another "killer fish", this one was the only survivor from my Doraemon fish tank.


(I don't think it deserves a new home but here it is.) My fishes tended to kill one another, I believe the food was the cause.
